We innovate to make a difference

We hire the best to do the best. If you can think of it, we can design it. From concept generation and concept evaluation to computer modeling and manufacturing. We welcome challenges and conquer them. We specialize in additive manufacturing, composites and product development of orthopedic and surgical devices.

Ilizarov: This orthopedic fixation is used to treat complex open fractures through exterior fixation. The current design is made of steel which makes it heavy and cumbersome for patients to move. With our innovative design and using carbon fiber reinforced materials, the new design is 70 % lighter with the same structural integrity. The use of Carbon fiber polymer makes the design MRI and CT-Scan friendly.  With the use of additive manufacturing, our fixators are custom made for specific age group, body type and sex.

Consulting Services

We change your concept to a fully functional product, from concept evaluation, computer modeling to additive manufacturing and testing in service.

Additive Manufacturing

Additive manufacturing (AM), 3D printing (3DP) or rapid prototyping (RP), or as we call it path to innovation is converting a digital model into a functional part by adding successive layers. The additive process gives the advantage of producing complex geometries with desired properties. Unlike removal manufacturing process the properties are not degraded with post processing machining.  We have the capability to print with polymers, metals and composites.

Composites

Composite materials are changing the world we live in. They are offering properties that other materials simply cannot. Composite materials will provide the designer the advantage of tailoring the material to get the desired properties. Two great examples would be Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 which were the first commercial aircraft to use composite materials in their primary structures. The use of composite materials in replacement of aluminum resulted in 20% reduction in fuel consumption.

Despite all the advantages associated with the use of composite materials, complexity of their failure analysis has hindered their full utilization. This lack of understanding will give the designer no choice but to over design which results in heavier structures negating the impetus for using the composite materials in the first place. We have the knowledge and expertise to design with composite to offer a superior product compared to metal counterparts.
